Some vehicles are exempt from the restriction on motor vehicles in the centre of Cambridge.

This country lane (which happens to be NCN 1) has been designated a "40mph zone", despite being a normal country lane no different from any of the other lanes in the area. Drivers were remarkably deferential when I encountered them.
